Jouni Pehkonen - Drums

I first got to know Jouni when he was rigging all sorts of "cars" into "all terrain recreational vehicles" with my older brother. It wasn`t long `til I found  out that he played drums, too. Since me and two of my friends, Jouni T. and Ville, had this sort of a three piece going, we desided to ask Jouni to be our drummer. That was when our first band, Offal, came into being in the spring of 1998.

Jouni is actually quite calm character, a feat that you can`t really see on stage while he is bashing the drums like a maniac. Trained know-it-all (read: engineer) makes his opinions very hard to change. His also the only one in the band who resides outside the capital area in his stately home. Not much of a regular drinker, but more a fan of bigger parties (of which "The Ranch" has seen a few!)

Jouni is the most experienced (read: old fart) member of Feral Burn. What comes to his playing, Jouni is a great drummer who likes to play many kinds of music. A member of the "old covenant", he can easily play one-footed although he usually likes to add some double pedal action to the songs as well.

In conclusion Jouni is a great guy who likes a bit of laugh and has a good determination for playing in a band - what else can you ask for?
